NOV 16   ROQ ROCKS TMK AGAIN

Too humbled by the fact that late-night Los Angeles was treated to the sound of The Moon Kids again, courtesy of the legendary Rodney Bingenheimer. It doesn't get better than the most legendary radio DJ on the planet playing two of your songs - Rollercoaster People and Ice Cream, since you ask - on the world-famous KROQ. We owe you one Rodney.

NOV 9  RODNEY ON THE ROQ

We're stoked that the Mayor Of Sunset Strip himself, LA's king of rock radio Rodney Bingenheimer, has chosen our latest single Ice Cream for the playlist on his world-famous Rodney On The Roq radio show. Rodney (that's him on the right with John and Yoko) is a true rock'n'roll legend and his tales of hanging out with The Beatles, The Stones, The Beach Boys, David Bowie and, natch, The Ramones are totally unique. Tune in to KROQ 106.7FM here.

NOV 1   TMK ON JAPANESE RADIO

Much love to Tokyo's InterFM 897 and everyone on the team at What The Funday - including Mike Rogers, Furukawa Taro and George Williams - for putting The Moon Kids on the playlist alongside The Doors, The Ramones and Future Sound Of London. Loving your work. For more on our favourite radio station in the land of the rising sun, head over to the InterFM 897 site here.

OCT 1   TIMELESS MELODIES

Tonight we'll be toasting the genius of Lee Mavers. One of our favourite albums, the debut album by The La's, was released 25 years ago today and, for us, that's a great excuse to celebrate. If you love beautiful guitar pop, inspired songwriting and maverick brilliance, we reckon you ought to get acquainted with this record. Is the dust at TMK HQ the right vintage? We're not sure. But we are certain you ought to hear this.

JUL 27   TMK IN GLOBAL UNSIGNED ONLY FINAL

The Moon Kids have been voted into the final of the worldwide Unsigned Only songwriting competition. We're really stoked about this because
the judging panel is made up of artists like Alt-J, Run DMC and the legend that is Robert Smith of The Cure. It's a real honour that, from thousands of songs submitted from around the world, the judging
panel - which also included Sinead O'Connor and The Killers - chose
our song Luna Park for one of the coveted places in the final. We're celebrating by playing Raising Hell at top volume for the rest of the day.

JUL 24   THE MOON KIDS IN SST40 TOP 10

The Somewhat Subjective Top 40 is not only "the pop chart from an alternate universe" it's also one of our favourite online radio shows. And, after nine weeks on the chart -                                      alongside the likes of Foals, Florence & The Machine, FFS and Wolf                                  Alice - we're buzzed by the fact that Strange Thoughts On Sunday is                                  No.3 this week. Thanks to Rob Galgano and the team at All Over The                                Place Internet Radio in New Jersey. Tune in to the SST40 on Friday                                  nights at 9pm (UK time), Saturday at 5pm and midnight on Sunday for                                the full chart rundown.

OCT 31   LIVE AT VAMPIRE BEACH

It's Halloween and we're playing Vampire Beach at Blackpool's legendary Pleasure Beach. Will we manage to tear Rory away from the rollercoasters long enough to get him back behind the drums? We're not totally sure. But what we do know is that it's going to be all the fun of the fair and lots more besides. Guaranteed to be an unforgettable show. Tickets here

OCT 12   LIVE WITH RAGLANS

We're reuniting with Raglans tonight for a special gig at Edinburgh's Electric Circus. Raglans are lining up some surprises too. Get tickets here.

OCT 5   THANKS MR MARR ...

Much love to Mr Johnny Marr for saying such nice things about The Moon Kids. And, as if by coincidence, those lovely people at www.dynamiczine.com - the world's No1 Johnny Marr fanzine - have made a cartoon that features Johnny, a copy of the mag, and a couple of other musicians you might recognise (spot the tell-tale Moon Kids T-shirt). We love the fairground and the Ice Cream stall. Check out the brilliance here
